The Campaign
RFL1000 is a campaign to raise funds for Love146, a charity that gives care and hope to trafficked children, and to raise awareness of the scale of human trafficking across Europe. At the heart of the project is a 1000 mile run from Odessa to Dubrovnik being undertaken in April 2013 by Guy, Rob and Tom and a growing team of other runners.
As the campaign has evolved, Guy, Rob and Tom realised that with just three the potential of the project would always be limited. With that in mind they have looked to build a community of runners, other fundraisers and charities to come together to achieve the campaign's two aims:
- to raise £150,000 to enable Love146 to build the UK’s first trauma recovery centre for trafficked children; and
- to raise awareness about the scale of human trafficking across Europe.
